Voting Certificate

Designate a voting representative when a unit has multiple owners.

When is this Required? (By-Laws Art. II.5)

When a unit is owned by more than one person, all co-owners must designate one person to cast the vote for that unit. This certificate must be filed with the Secretary and remains in effect until revoked or replaced.

Note: This is different from a proxy. A voting certificate designates which co-owner votes for the unit. A proxy authorizes someone else to vote in your place.
