Unit Owner Insurance Responsibilities

While the association maintains a master policy, unit owners are responsible for obtaining their own insurance coverage for:

  • HO-6 (Condo Unit Owner) Policy covering interior improvements, personal property, and personal liability
  • Loss assessment coverage for special assessments related to insurance claims
  • Personal flood insurance for unit contents (NFIP or private)
  • Personal umbrella policy recommended for additional liability protection

Important: Proof of Insurance

Unit owners may be required to provide proof of HO-6 insurance coverage. Per Florida Statute 718.111(11), the association may require unit owners to maintain adequate insurance coverage.

If you have questions about your insurance requirements or need a copy of the association's master policy declaration page for your insurance agent, please contact the Board.
